Cruel
I know now, with certainty, the world is cruel. It’s unfair, it’s unjust, and it can be an excruciating place to exist. But with that I’ve learned to do my best to cherish those I love. I will cling to that love with every bit of strength I can muster, even through the cruelty I both experience and observe.
